My 9 year old loves these shoes. I bought them big so she would be able to grow and wear them longer. She normally wears a size 3 in kids. However, I bought the Heelys in a 5M. They are about 1 size too big but she wear thick socks. They look a little big on her, but I am okay with that--as it does not affect her skating or walking. I would recommend going somewhere flat and smooth to practice if they are the first pair. It took about a week to build skating confidence. Well made. Durable.
