This is a great stand. As the other reviewers said, one person can easily set it up and hang a hammock with no assistance at all. It holds me (250+ lbs) and feels quite sturdy and safe. BUT if your hammock is less than 11 or 12 ft from tip to tail, you'll need to buy more chain. I'm not complaining, but I thought others would want to know.

Lol, this is such a great idea for people who want the some of the Gerber Apocalypse Kit but cannot afford the whole thing at $350. This small personal kit is a great alternative that come with some awesome tools.

The DMF is a pretty sweet folder, feels great in your hand and has a great design. The tactical tanto blade is pretty sharp out of the box and great for stabbing zombies in the face...it would also work well for stabbing your best friend in the stomach. The G-10 grip handle feels good, and the safety action is smooth, even when covered in blood or wet. There is no blade play and the pommel at the bottom of the handle is great for breaking glass or splitting skulls open...your choice. Also comes with a reversible and sturdy belt clip that is good for lefty's or righty's.

The Gator Machete Pro is a beast. I have 2 of these and let me tell you, you smile as soon as you see this thing. When you hold it all you wanna do is swing, chop and hack things up. You will need to put an edge on this but it doesn't take much. I found that a diamond rod works great for the hook. The sheath is awesome and feels very durable. It comes with a sharpening stone and a safety lanyard...can't have it dulling out or getting away from you now.

All said and done, I recommend this kit by all means. Great for anyone looking for either one of the blades individually as they cost almost $50 a piece. Good for backcountry use, forestry students, clearing out brush in your yard, or just simply deterring zombies when the time comes.

This kit also comes with the new Gerber graphics, which I like a little bit more than the older ones.

Here's the short of it:

The Good
1) Shoes are stylish and look good.
2) Shoes are very comfortable and actually have a bit of arch support (at least compared to other "casual" shoes that I've worn).
3) Despite the flat sole, they are pretty grippy even on wet surfaces.

The Bad
1) Very flexible - which is kind of interesting seeing as Teva advertises these as casual shoes that are also geared at biking. I was shocked at how pliable the sole itself was. You can easily feel any sort of bend or bump in the road surface through the sole of the shoe which also means that a bike pedal digs into your mid-sole without much comfort or support.
2) Not very durable at all. To be honest, the quality control here was pretty poor, at least on my shoes. Within 2 weeks, the inner fabric lining in the heel cup of the shoe had torn a hole in it and now does a number on my socks. Within 4 weeks, part of the "Teva" logo at the rear of the shoe had torn off. Within 2 months, part of the "Teva" logo on the tongue of the shoe had ripped open. And all of this is with very little use (my job involves lots of sitting, so it's not like I've worn these shoes for any sort of heavy use at all).

My advice
Pass on these shoes. I'm not sure if this is an indication of Teva's overall quality or not, but if it is, then I will personally be passing on Teva in the future.

Additionally, Teva does have a 1 year warranty, however it requires that I pay to send the shoes to them, which seems kind of silly since the problems are due to their own manufacturing errors.

For the price these are decent shoes. Good cushion and materials for a trail running shoe. I find very little difference in quality between these shoes and other's I've owned for twice the price.
