Oakley Half Jacket Replacement Lenses Clear Review

I ordered these for a pair of Half Jacket "1.0" frames I've had around forever. At first I thought these must be for the Half Jacket 2.0 series since I found them very difficult to install. Initially there was a gap near the top-inner corner, close to the nose-bridge. I checked the Oakley website and looked at the shape of the 2.0 lenses versus the original "1.0" lenses AND THESE ARE INDEED ORIGINAL "1.0" LENSES. To install you must not only follow the directions (install the outer edge of the lens into its socket, then the inner edge) but also apply a liberal amount of force. Initially I hesitated to push as hard as I could for fear of breaking my new lenses, but only upon applying as much force as I could did they snap into place. I am a male of average build and strength.

I highly recomend viewing some installation videos on youtube as the included instructions while adequate, leave something to be desired.
