My husband rides at night a lot and I worry about visibility. He has lights on his bike and helmet but had nothing on his body until I purchased this jacket for him. It makes him a lot more visible at night. In daylight, the fabric looks like it is just grey. At night, when lights shine on the jacket, it has reflective fiber woven into the fabric so the whole jacket lights up when headlights hit it. Not a 100% guarantee against getting hit by a car but it makes me feel much better that at least drivers will see him.
