These nylon trou are well constructed and fit well (with 32" inseam). The lower legs come off easily and zip on easily -- the zippers' color coding is helpful. I had wondered whether there'd be any breathability issues, but in the course of walking around NYC and DC in the heat this June, I found them quite comfortable. And after being caught in a torrential downpour that mostly ignored my umbrella, I found that they dried pretty quickly. I bought these for travel to warmer climates, aboard flights with absurdly low weight limits for carry-ons. So, in view of their strong performance over here, I think they'll work out well.
