I purchased these QD rings so I can remove my scope from the Mil-Spec picatinny rail on my 10/22 take-down. The rings I used are 1" for the REDFIELD Battlezone .22LR 2-7X34 scope. Rings are .730" from base to middle of ring. This gave me just enough clearance of the Objective Bell above the rear iron sight folded. You must remove the scope and rings first in order to take-down the 10/22. There isn't room to rotate the barrel/forearm without hitting the rear sight unless you first remove the scope/rings combo. Scope holds zero. This set up keeps the scope very low to the barrel.
