I have never worn socks like this before so this is a new experience. I would have to rate these socks as 'first quality' and strongly recommend them.

These socks go right up to my knee. The elastic strength is significant! They are hard to put on. That, though, is their job; to be compressive. The socks have gone through the wash now for about 6 weeks and show no sign of wear and tear, or compression failure. Each day I put them on, its as if they were new. I would have expected these socks to fail and tear up given how hard I have to tug and pull on them to get them on. They remain in good shape, though.

It took me a few days to get use to wearing them, but after that I didn't even notice they were on. Further, as the days passed I began to prefer the experience over being barefoot or wearing normal socks.

Sigvaris seems to be a very high quality product.
