I bought this for State Constable duty use. I use a Bianchi OWB holster for my 1911 for everyday carry and find it to be an extremely well made quality product. Upon receiving this belt, it was obvious it was not going to work for me. For average conceal carry with a compact or sub-compact, it may do fine. Although I have found belts of equal thickness and quality at my local hardware store for 1/3 the price. I do not recommend this belt if you plan to carry anything other than a light weight fire arm. Or with any accessories such as extra mags, flashlight, etc. Also the belt I received was much lighter in color than what was represented on my computer screen. I feel Bianchi was just trying to loose some of their lesser quality products on unassuming amazon buyers at premium prices. I sent mine back and found what I needed away from Amazon for the same price.
