I own many pairs of "parachute" material pants for travel and most look functional but not very stylish (standard khaki, with elastic waist and fit dowdy). I ordered these for warm weather trip and love the color, it's a grayish brown color (not too dark to be too hot but just dark enough it doesn't show too much dirt) and the fit is great. It's rides just over your hipbone, so lower than your natural waist and legs are roomy but not excessively. They look like a normal pair of pants and the inside of the waistband has a soft microfiber material to prevent chafing. I normally wear women dress pants in a size 6 and these fit very true to size. They're pricey, but excellent quality and the bug away will last 70 washings, so can be used for many trips.
