I have not had these long enough to review their performance, and the three star rating should be ignored for now. I just wanted to post
some information that buyers might like to know when considering purchasing this item. I will come back and write a full review after I've had the pants awhile.

The information is: at the time of this writing the marketing copy for this product says "plenty of pockets right where you need them--two front slant pockets, zip-closed side cargo pockets, and zip-closed back pockets". All these pockets are in fact there, but only one of them, the left cargo pocket, is zip-closed. The right cargo and the back pockets are Velcro-closed. This is in fact clear to see by zooming the photos IF you know to look for it - the zipper is visible on the left cargo and the other three have flaps, plus a little tab to help pull the Velcro apart.

This incorrect copy is probably just an honest mistake but disappointing nevertheless. Not a dealbreaker, especially because there are other things about these pants that I think I am really going to like. But just don't expect four zips. Hope the copy is corrected soon.
