Best reel around for catching BIG panfish and average-size largemouth (I have landed up to six pounders). This reel stands up to toughest pound for pound freshwater fishes----non-native tropical fish (Oscars and Mayan Cichlids) weighing up to 2 pounds found in Florida's Everglades . If it can stand up to these MOST aggresive fighters, it can take on just about any small- to mid-sized fish.
