Saucony Women's Palladium Packable Jacket (Vizipro Pink, Medium) Review

Unfortunately I'm not a runner, so I'm returning it. That being said, this is a nice jacket - well-made, water-proof, very light-weight. The white one is translucent, fyi. The jacket is quite fitted. I checked my measurements against the size chart on the Saucony web site and ordered a size Small accordingly - the jacket definitely fit and would have room for a t-shirt or maybe a (very) light fleece under it, but that's it. I was hoping to be able to use it from early spring into fall, but this was slightly too fitted to be able to comfortably wear a sweater underneath. Also, the arms and shoulders were too tight to comfortably be able to wear the jacket on a bike. None of these things make the jacket itself bad, but given the tight fit and the see-through fabric, the jacket wasn't worth keeping to me. That being said, I could see how runners might love this thing - it's small enough and light enough to shove into a tiny pocket and pull out when you need it, and put away and forget when you don't. I liked the fabric - it's a little plastic-y, but nowhere near the worst feeling fabric I've felt in my search for a packable rain jacket. If you're looking for a light rain jacket for running or walking, etc., go for it.
