Rawlings Left Ear Traditional Style MLB Authentic Batting Helmet for a Right Handed Batter (Black Hat, Size 7 1/8) Review

I play in an over 35 men's league and used this helmet for the last 6 or 7 games of the 2012 season. I've not been hit in the head so I can't comment on its effectiveness but I do enjoy using this helmet more so than a 2 ear flap helmet. I found it easier to focus on the pitch for some reason. However, I did have cut down the thickness of the ear pad to get a comfortable fit. Overall I would recommend this helmet right now. If I take a pitch off the head I'll be sure to update this review.
