This is a great light! But it's an expensive light and overkill for most people. If you need a BRIGHT, rugged light that's small in size and weight, this is perfect. If you need a bright light and aren't going to be doing anything really tough or hauling it for long distances, save your money. You can get a good light MUCH cheaper.

I work in international disaster response and every ounce counts. Plus my light needs to stand up to the elements and hard use. This is a great light for that.

Also, the zoom feature is almost non-existent. Don't expect Mag-lite-like zooming from this light.
