I bought this helmet to replace one of the wally world helmets that I owned for about 5 mins,just got into cycling to ride with my daughter.The old saying you get what you pay for was very true in this case. When I received my new lumen I was impressed before I even got it on my head,the fit and finish was very nice the outer shell was'nt coming loose and it has nice buckle's,pads,and the size adjuster is very good. The straps are a heavier grade than the first mentioned helmet which by the way was a bell thrasher. The lumen cost almost double,but is worth the extra money,what price do you put on your noggin? Well the real test comes with the first ride,and after a couple of minutes I forgot I even was wearing a helmet,light,comfortable,and the airflow was very good.I could feel the breeze circulating through the helmet even at slow speeds.In my opinion I would recommend this helmet to anyone wanting a good helmet at a mid-range price level.I feel it looks and is probably as good as some of the more expensive helmets.
