The Talley 30 Millimeter X-Bolt (Low) is a unique scope mount made of one-piece construction. The rigid design has no joint between the scope and the rifle. The lightweight unitized design eliminates the possibility of an "out of alignment" interface or "loose connection" between the ring and base of traditional two piece designs. Ultimately this provides more strength and durability than rival steel rings and bases but doing it with a lighter overall weight. By extruding the 7000 series alloy known for its durability then precision CNC machining the mount to its final design, it provides the strongest, lightest mount system on the market.

Don't be afraid to buy these because they are aluminum! I have always been a steel mount guy, but after buying my new Browning X-Bolt, there weren't many options for steel mounts for this 4 hole base. Well, these are great. I mounted them on my 308 with a Leupold scope and the rifle holds zero time after time. These mounts are rock solid and it is very nice that there is no joint between the ring and base, but instead are one solid piece. Highly recommended!!
