These are my absolute favorite breeches. The ribbing makes them more flattering than a tight-type breech and more comfortable too because of the slight stretch. They're still breathable in the summer though and I put thin long johns underneath for winter. The zippered pocket is a must, although it's a little small for today's cell phones (my iPhone in an Otterbox Defender case can't be zipped in, and my Razr M just barely makes it). The best thing I can say about these is that I've been using one pair as my go-to everyday breech for at least 3 years and they're only now wearing out. I've had to sew the crotch seam twice and I'm finally replacing them because the fabric is wearing out where my dressage whip sits. My willingness to sew should say something about how awesome these pants are! A few times in my life I've been dumb enough to spend $200 on a pair of Schumacher breeches, but I'd rather have 4 of these.
