Pearl Izumi Women's Pro Leader Short, Black/Lime, Small Review

I too encountered sizing issues. I comfortably wear a medium PI Quest short. I wanted to get some better padding for much longer rides, so I tried these (at a PI outlet store). Glad I got to try them on first, as I found that the medium was out of the question, and even the large seemed a bit snug! But the XL was too large, so I went with the L and they worked okay. I guess I don't have the same body proportions as the typical rider PI had in mind when they designed these, hehe. Happily, I did find that the 4D chamois in these is very comfy, much better than the what's in the Quest or similar-priced shorts, and I'm talking about 6-8 hour rides.

You need to use 49 strand cable and you need to test the completed assembly with standard stress analysis procedures.
I use a bicycle wheel to make the upper part that has no sharp bends or edges. and a 5 gallon bucket or large as a water filled calibrated load.
Some cables fail but this one does what it claims.
The other concern is the corrosion factor as well as the bending test. Lures that do not have action generally catch no fish. If you are using organic bait this is a good measure against the puffer fish who would bite off a finger if you stuck it in the two tooth mouth made by nature to cut coral.

I purchased these shoes sight unseen and never tried on from a recommendation in Men's Health and I think it was spot on. The shoes are very comfortable and supportive for lifting and some cardio work. Don't think I would try to do long distance running in them, but then again I am not much of a runner to begin with. Overall I really like the design of the shoe, but the pleasing aesthetics of it are gradually turning into the upsetting realization that this shoe will have a really short life cycle of use.

The white rim around the base of the shoe is starting separate from itself on both shoes, after only about a month of normal use. For a parent with limited funds, knowing that the shoe is already disintegrating is upsetting. I would look for another brand.
