I was looking for a casual dress to wear as a beach cover up that I wouldn't feel exposed in if I stopped on the way home to pick up dinner. I order this dress as well as Columbia Freezer II style and I prefer the latter dress. This dress fits fairly close to the body and has a shelf bra (elastic band at bottom of chest). Since I plan to wear this with a bathing suit, it's not needed and as it fits fairly close, I think it would be too warm on a hot day. The Freezer II doesn't have a built in bra, has wide straps and is fitted through the ribs and flows down. More comfortable, nicer looking - this dress could go out to a casual dinner. I'm returning this one and buying another freezer II in a different color.
